Bridge 1.3: Redesigned attended transfer flow

We have a new version of Bridge! The new Bridge update introduces a redesigned attended transfer flow. The attended transfer flow in Bridge is nothing new. However, now we have improved the transfer flow, so that it allows a transfer funnel, with which the users are taken step by step through the flow, to minimize errors. The new version is available as a web version, MacOS, as well as Windows. In combination with the previous release of Bridge, the redesigned transfer flow, provides the opportunity for easier-to-use, complete contact center solution!

How is it different from the previous version?

The redesigned version of attended transfer flow aims for clearer and better system of understanding on how Bridge can be used. Previously, the transfer flow did not take our users through funnel, therefore, confusion arose on how to cancel or finish the transfer. Now the funnel takes users modal by modal, where there are simplified directions, arranged in a manner to avoid confusion.

Minimising transfer window

Our updated attended transfer flow allows users to minimise their transfer window, while providing the freedom of being able to see and answer other calls. The best part of this redesign is, that when window is minimised, the call is not automatically paused. When another call is picked up, the minimised card at the bottom becomes grey (same as any call on hold) and has an active pause button (same as any call on hold). When the transfer calls are opened, they are not automatically taken off hold, but user has to do it manually, which gives the user an opportunity to fully be in control of their calls. When the transfer call modal with calls is open and user clicks anywhere else next to the modal, the tooltip over the “minimise” button shows up with the text “Click here to minimise window”.
