Our mission is to improve instant communication in the daily lives of people, by creating the best modular platform and supporting our partners in bringing it to the world. We have a small team that is driven to make our products even better, both in functionality and user experience. The world within IPerity revolves around instant communication, mostly audio (but also chat), as we use desk phones as our main communication devices. We create and maintain software that supports contact centres and receptionists in their daily handling of calls and making their experience as easy as possible. Our daily activities include processes all the way from thinking of new features, to developing them and testing them; to bringing them to the market and our supporting customers.

What we are looking for

  • Can see through processes and identify the steps of improvement quickly;
  • Is able to switch between working with teammates and taking the lead when necessary;
  • Stands their ground towards opinionated people;
  • Communicates clearly and to the point;
  • Is able to be at our office in the Hague at least 2-3 days per week;
  • Is flexible enough to deal with a dynamic change of priorities;
  • Pays attention to details; and
  • Is friendly and open-minded.

In terms of qualifications, you have:

  • A bachelor/masters degree in IT relevant education;
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in setting up/changing/improving processes in a non-directive manner;
  • Affinity with, and/or experience with solving IT related problems (preferably in phones/cloud based networks); and
  • Experience in testing, and/or support roles.

What you will be doing

You will be responsible for the test and customer support processes.

In collaboration with the testing team, these tasks would be part of your daily routine:

  • Testing all the products that we develop following a test plan;
  • Investigating, solving and answering customer support cases over the phone, through our ticket management system;
  • Documenting the processes/test plan you are following;
  • Communicating with our customers on a technical level; and
  • Communicating with developers on a daily basis to ensure the test plans cover the features that are developed.

As team leader for the test and support team, you are additionally responsible for:

  • Making sure the communication between the development team and the test and support team is running smoothly;
  • Making a testing plan and ensuring sure it is taken into account in the sprint planning;
  • Taking part in the weekly sprint planning meeting;
  • Evaluating and improving processes within the test and support team; and
  • Making reports about these processes and using this data to monitor and improve when necessary.

What we are offering

  • Contract term of initially 1 year with opportunity to extend to a permanent position.
  • We are looking for someone who can work between 32-40 hours per week.
  • Salary of €2500 - €3000 (gross) per month.
  • We provide you with an NS business card to travel, we do not support mileage allowance.
  • You will have laptop and other equipment that you might need.
