IPerity Academy

Sharing the knowledge about the techniques behind our communication solutions contributes to a better understanding for our IPerity partners. The more knowledge and skills our partners acquire, the better they can serve the end users and resellers in using the platform.

Participating in the IPerity Academy will definitely increase the knowledge and skills of the Compass platform.

We offer three different training courses: a technical training, a consultant Compass training and a Developers training. Themes that will be covered extensively are the vision of Iperity, VoIP terminology, technical analysis, Compass terminology and setting up a dial plan and how to build apps on top of Compass.

Compass Technical Training

To customers who want to reduce their support workload we recommend the two-day Compass Technical Training. These two days will be divided into a basic course and a follow-up day spread over two to four weeks.

Course duration: 2 working days (16 hours)
Minimum number of participants: 4 (big groups in consultation)
Location: IPerity office, The Hague
Who for? (Technical) consultants, service desk employees, technical staff.

Day 1: Compass Technical Training

The basic Compass training consists of the following sections:

Introduction

Themes: introduction IPerity, introduction Compass, overview of current market trends, products and services, terminology operators and providers, systems, overview of network and infrastructure, support handling.

Compass parts

Themes: sections and resources within the platform, users and their characteristics, flexible office spaces, devices.

IP networks

Themes: IPv4, IPv6, VoIP network quality, node configuration, TCP vs. UDP, DNS SRV records, NAT.

VoIP networks

Themes: VoIP terminology, Mobile-on-PBX (or “real” FMC), establishing connections, SIP, RTP, IAX2, Firewall settings, VoIP through NAT.

Compass technique

Themes: network overview, dial plan parts, structure, virtual switch, web interface, user rights, device provisioning, queues /waiting times, NAT, hacking.

Technical analysis

Themes: basic knowledge of SIP, PCAP traces, TCP dump, wireshark, routers in practice, support escalation towards IPerity, tips and tricks.

Day 2:  Compass follow-up day

The Compass follow-up day consists of the following sections:

Customer cases

Themes: discussing customer cases brought up by partner. These cases can be current customer cases or old customer cases solved by other voip platforms. Per customer we will explain how to solve the case using Compass.

Forced on Cloud (deepening)

Themes: deepening of forced on cloud, call flows, troubleshooting, roaming.

Dial plans (advanced)

Themes: dial plan nesting, combination of techniques.

Troubleshooting (deepening)

Themes: SIP, BLF, Provisioning, Dial plans, NAT, Firewall.

Advanced assignments

Themes: setting up Compass organizations based on customer cases.

 

Compass Consultant Training

To customers who want to take full commercial advantage of the possibilities we recommend the one-day Compass Commercial Training. In this training we will discuss how to use the Compass platform creatively in order to solve a multitude of communication problems. In addition, we will examine in what way the platform is related to other products to understand the virtues of Compass even better.

Course duration: 1 working day (8 hours)
Minimum number of participants: 4 (big groups in consultation)
Location: IPerity office, The Hague
Who for? (Technical) consultants, sellers, marketers.
Price per person: €495
